The Animal Shelter Advisory Board helps guide the care and services provided by the Leadville and Lake County Animal Shelter. The board works to make sure the shelter is well run, stays on budget, and continues to serve both city and county residents as well as the animals who need safe housing, medical care, and new homes.

The board reviews shelter policies, future plans, and major spending needs and gives recommendations to the City of Leadville and Lake County to keep the shelter strong and sustainable.
