The City of Leadville has merged the building department with the Lake County Community Planning & Development as of July 9th, 2018. 

• Currently, the County has a contract with Colorado Code Consulting which provides building, plumbing, and mechanical permits, plan, review, and inspection services for the City of Leadville and Lake County. 
• The City of Leadville and Lake County have both adopted the 2018 International Building Code.  
• The County charges an additional 65% of the permit fee for plan reviews.  

All permits for building, mechanical, and plumbing will need to be applied for at the Lake County Community Planning & Development (719) 486-2875.
